mickeyd2005
I finally got around to install my Jazzy MT aux-in mod. However, I can get the last cable removed from the radio. It looks like the connector is just attached to a blade on the stereo. However, it won't come out. I've pulled on it pretty hard and it won't budge and there doesn't seem to be a prong to push or pull on to release the lock. Any suggestions. http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r69/mickeyd2005/IMG_8551.jpg
rao
It's a ground; just push in the tab with your thumb and it will come off. Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
mickeyd2005
I've tried pushing and pulling on the tab. Does the entire black connector come off the blade? Or does the wire come out of the black connector? Thanks.
rao
The entire connector comes off. Try pushing the connector towards the radio while you press in the tab. That one can be a PITA to take off. mickeyd2005
Thanks Rao. I Used a special angled pliers to squeeze it while I yanked really hard. Popped off. Nothing s*cks more than having 1/2 the dash removed and the radio hanging by a single cable.
