05ABP2.5i
EDIT: I had my car dyno'd today and got: 147awhp 149awtq Perrin LWP Custom COBB intake w/ K&N panel Borla headers Custom exhaust I had my custom exhaust done this Fri. It is 2.5in from the cat, resonator delete, and then 2.25 to the Magnaflow mufflers. HUGE difference, not only in performance but sound. not for the faint of heart. I will post the pics tonight. I don't have any movie/sound software so if someone is in southern MD could help. i must say though i "heart" my exhaust:wub: http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g178/05CGMWagon/DSCF0159.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g178/05CGMWagon/DSCF0160.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g178/05CGMWagon/DSCF0161-1.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g178/05CGMWagon/DSCF0162-1.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g178/05CGMWagon/DSCF0163-1.jpg

Guest subiecity
lol looks kinda beefy but better then stock i guess....only thing i dont like is the mufflers kinda look like they r wayy to low from the bumper, and the custom welds on it, with the salt on the roads in the winter i wanna say the welds will eventually break apart, rust and crumble, thats why all the aftermarket exausts dont have many welds they r all bolt on......but besides that im dying to hear a sound clip, im sure it was a quarter cheaper the price of any exaust out there right now, and i love screaming exausts im gonna eventually go catless and straight pipe mine right to the perrin mufflers... how many car alarms u set off yet? soind clips sound clips sound clips!!!!!!!!! SUBBROS
Not sure where they got that Y pipe. Looks like it's a reused piece or something. Magnaflow does sell Y's that are much more cleaner. Any time you guys need a Y or Magnaflows, pm me. I have a good hook up. Bump for a custom!

OhBe1
Looking good! Are there any muffers sold that bolt up to the stock Y-pipe? ... Any mufflers (aka "axelbacks") designed for the turbo will fit the N/A. For Outbacks, you'll need to add longer hangers. 06LOB2.5i MT, JDMRSB, GYTTs, HPS, LGT Mufflers & Leather Wheel, SubiMomo Knob, Inalfa Moonroof, Clutch Switch Bypass, DeDRLd, DeChimed, & Straight Headrest. OK from my impression from looking around on here is the aftermarket GT mufflers need some mods to fit a N/A. Like the pipe diameter is too big or something to that effect

Like the pipe diameter is too big or something to that effect The muffler pipe would have to be pretty big... The flange is about 3" wide. So - IMO, any axelback that is designed to work with the stock turbo midpipe should work on the 2.5i. 06LOB2.5i MT, JDMRSB, GYTTs, HPS, LGT Mufflers & Leather Wheel, SubiMomo Knob, Inalfa Moonroof, Clutch Switch Bypass, DeDRLd, DeChimed, & Straight Headrest. BigJack
I am surprised that no one has yet confirmed that turbo mufflers will work. I would love just to change the mufflers for now.

iroczu
How does this sound? and those are stocker gt mufflers? and i'm wondering with the legacy i have it's a 2003 gt, and was wondering if anyone else has done or knows for sure or if someones has previously posted links of pics with one with dual exhaust and also audio files? because i'd like to have the signature boxer sound, but i don't know if i have to swap headers or if stockers will work, and what is best choice of mufflers, or is this "axle back" or "cat-back" would be best choice? iroczu
also forgot to add, does anyone know if i can get the cats and resionator removed without throwing codes? it didn't look like i seen any o2 sensor's anywhere near the cats.. though here it is illegal to have them removed after 1994. was wondering for performance and sound gains. but i don't want to throw codes or gumb anything up with the senors etc... i did a stupid move in the past by moving my aits i think it's called? Air Intake Temperture Sensor (how ever spelt) and it messed up my rear o2 on a sunfire a number of years ago, but never threw any codes.. any input would be great

BigJack
Im just interested in a little sound. If i wanna go fast i ride my Kawasaki. I would love to just swap out the mufflers. Maybe gain a little growl and also have something with a little bit bigger tip.
