Any downside to ceramic brakes?

Subject pretty much says it all. Is there any downside to ceramic brakes? I'm looking for something with a bit more bite and it seems that ceramics are the way to go. From what I can tell, in addition to more bite I'll also get a more consistent feel (no fade) and less dusting (Yay!). Is there a downside to ceramics?

lol, here I was thinking ceramic brake rotors...

Ceramic brake pads you mean? :D. Actually, semi-metallics are better for more initial bite, which is what most people equate to good brakes. I would say ceramics are more for those that are concerned with dusting.

Try Akebono pads; people I know have said they dust less than OEM, but it was on different cars (MPV, Taurus).
