IwannaSportSedan
Why? Why give up a 6 for a forced 4? Especially when force feeding the VQ six is fairly well developed? At least it is a testament to fabrication skills. The G35 rear end on a Z cabrio is interesting, but that is a lot of bling, even in the paint. I probably shouldn't complain about the engine swap... I like subaru boxers, and I have a crazy dream of supercharging or twin turbocharging a "built" Subaru H6 longblock, and putting it in a Gen2 MR2, driving the rear wheels, Porsche cayman style, with t-tops and along ferrari 355 Challenge-esque lines, without being a blatant ripoff. RobE
It started as an Eclipse vert, so it never had a v6 Laz should have mentioned this in the original post. I saw the pic and was like "wow" a 350z. Then I looked at the link and was surprised that it started out as an Eclipse. It does look pretty good seeing how it started out as an Eclipse. http://newenglandsubarus.com/
laz
Laz should have mentioned this in the original post. I saw the pic and was like "wow" a 350z. Then I looked at the link and was surprised that it started out as an Eclipse. It does look pretty good seeing how it started out as an Eclipse. I thought about it, but I wanted to leave tha small detail for the surprise factor. That is why I left the three dots after the Z and G35 bit. I wonder if the eclipse was AWD and they were abe to use that as well. They should at least ahve changed the cheap looking seats. And why spray paint everything on the engine? Won't the paint peel off the plastic parts due to the heat? At least I got iwanna thinking that it was originally a Z!!! And for the record, the Nissan V6 acn be turboed, but it is a weak engine for that purpose. X ---

Rubix973
I wonder if the eclipse was AWD and they were abe to use that as well. I believe the Eclipse Sypders never came in GSX-AWD form... Could be wrong but I think the verts came with at best GS-t model
