hogmeat
i've always wanted to do that. Do I need a 183mph trapping car? na...but a 125 would be ideal... I'm pleasantly surprised... It was most certainly worth the couple bucks and 10 mins of my time. CLICK HERE FOR THE HOGZAUST

John M
Nice, but John Shepherd's 4 cylinder does faster than that on DOT-approved tires and he's shifting gears while doing so! All steel except hood & hatch. It's every bit as much a "street" car as that one is... http://shepracing.com/images/772.jpg
SubLo
Wow! That are is phenomenal! Sick! And yes, we use MPH because the Brits gave it to us. They are the originators. To be truthful, there were a number of street-legal, low 7-second, Kenny Duttweiller built GN's/T-Types years and years ago. They probably are still around somewhere in someone's garage. On the flip-side (quick vs. fast, barely legal pro-street handles like crap and totally usless vs. near factory comfort in a supercar) we have the 1988 Callaway Sledgehammer that ran 11's (intentionally geared high) and topped out at 254mph err.... 17 years ago! Screw Bugatti. Pissed me off they wound up selling it to some German guy. Luckilly, it was bought back and I believe it now sits in the Corvette museum in KY. ________________________________________________ '05 BSM OBXT Row-your-own, W.I.P. '06 Shrek B # 64 - The car the wife loved to hate :( Sold...

Billy Dagwood
I wonder how it compares (at the strip) to that vw beetle with the jet engine. That car is street legal too (granted the jet engine can't be switched on on the roads unless the driver wants bbq behind him).
PhilT
Wow! That are is phenomenal! Sick! And yes, we use MPH because the Brits gave it to us. They are the originators. Actually the Romans gave us the mile, there are still stone mileposts on some of the UK's oldest roads, which were left after the Roman invasion at about the same time as the birth of Christ. Cliff notes on the Roman occupation of the UK http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/ancient/romans/questions_01.shtml All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?
