Kaptan
Ok, I did some research and this is what I have come up with: (1) JL TR650-CSi (1) JL TR650-CXi (1) JL E4300 4 Channel (1) JL E1400D for subwoofer mono (1) JL sub 12W3v2d4 (1) ported box for subwoofer, perfect airspace. $865 + $50 shipping within the USA Does this sound like a good deal? Any idea how much install/wiring should be for all of this?
Th3Franz
Any particular reason why you're going ported? If you have a good reason, make sure the box builder knows what they're doing in regard to tuning the box to the way you want it to sound. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
Kaptan
The type of music I listen to is Alternative Rock, Rock, Classic Rock, and some rap. I heard for this type of music a ported box was the way to go. :?:
S4
Sealed all the way. I went from bandpass (I know, I know) to ported, to sealed. Sealed is by far IMHO the tightest and most musical. Not to mention, you don't even have to worry about port noise. To each their own though. If it's ported, make sure it's tuned, preferably created by the manufacturer to spec.
