leggtnut
Well, I have been thinking about making a mount for my PDA/GPS and XM MiFi2. So here is what I have currently developed. Mind you, it is still in a beta stage, but you get the concept. The wires are going to be hidden and installed properly in the future, but I didn't want to go though that if I didn't end up liking it. I know that the pictures aren't the best, but what do you expect from a camera phone. zmarko
Kudos on tackling this, but WOW that's a lot of stuff up there! I, personally, like a nice clean looking dash. I currently have my Sirius just sitting in my back seat because I can't figure out where to mount the thing. lol.
c-lo
what a job!!! where do you plan on putting the antennas? 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
leggtnut
I think that I am going to leave the antennas where they are, I need to paint the metal, then it would look much better. I also just got some vynal to cover it and make it look much better. I also need to run the hardware cables and it will look even better once that is done. c-lo
why not move them to the roof? 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
leggtnut
I haven't found a way to route the cables in a way that I am satisified with. And I have also found that I get just about as good of a signal with them where they are. I would say about a 2% loss at most. So this is simple and loods good in my mind. c-lo
yeah, think it's easier to route the antenna in the wagon vs the sedan. gotta go with what works! 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos

MIKEBRAVO
Dump your XM and get the XM sportcaster 49.00 it fits in the cubby lights up like the dash and gives you tons more room, and you can still close the cubby door with no wires showing and it has a remote. I have no idea about the GPS sorry. If you can afford College, you probably don't need to go.
MIKEBRAVO
Disregard, I didn't see you had the gauge pack. If you can afford College, you probably don't need to go.
