Back on topic, I think I'll just re-download my CDs straight to mp3 rather than lose fidelity by trying to convert one compressed format into another compressed format. schwinn Posted August 12, 2006 Share Posted August 12, 2006 Umm there is a very good coverter that is free (at least for 30 days) called DB power amp. It works great and can do alot. You can use the trail software or get it in the usual places. dBpowerAMP Quite true - excellent program, really, especially since it uses the VERY highly regarded LAME MP3 encoder. Older versions of dbPowerAmp actually had no limitiations - you should be able to find them somewhere on the web... I believe r10 was the last unlimited one... good thing I keep older versions!
