CasopoliS
wonder what the price will be. anyone? I still love the LGT though. The gauges are 10x better than all other Subaru gauges. More options than the WRX sti, but an STi is an STi.
Irrational Exuberance
im thinking about putting some cash down on one... if nothing else i could just sell off my reservation to some 16 year old in Rocklin (for any sac locals... you know what i mean) "i like my women the way i like terrorists... ...screaming gods name and ready to explode." http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/5479/troy3nu5.jpg
SWP-LegacyGT
sad excuse for an STI if you ask me. Not raising the HP to 350 is a mistake in Subaru's book.
algol
Our interiors are much nicer looking IMHO. Plus with a stage 2 setup it's just as fast as that STI.
-TT-
Not raising the HP to 350 is a mistake in Subaru's book. true. especially since the EVO X is rumored to go beyond 300HP stock
andrew.anderson
But the STI Limited does look alot classier then the standard STI.

SWP-LegacyGT
But the STI Limited does look alot classier then the standard STI. Yes but having a Evo X w/ DSG and 350+HP stock is a lot more appealing than a "classy" STI.
Silver05LegGTL
Got one on order... the Urban Grey Metallic, and I'm payin invoice, which I've been told is going to be about $1300 above the 2006 STI's invoice of around $31669. Oh, and I wouldn't be too sure about the Evo X having 350 hp... that is quite a jump from 276, not to mention they are using the same 2.0 4 banger! IMHO the Evo X is ugly anyway... Oh and one last thing... someone mentioned going stage II with the Legacy GT will out perform the STI... well, you can go stage II with an STI as well... my oh my won't that be fun! NewScooby
Yes but having a Evo X w/ DSG and 350+HP stock is a lot more appealing than a "classy" STI. I agree, although I almost traded my 05 LGT for an 06 EVO MR last week since it was $2250 under invoice. I bought a TDC tuned AP instead and decided to wait for the EVO X. If they do the DSG right, just like the new 911 Turbo, the DSG will be a quicker car than the manual:icon_cool

kanoswrx
The seats are similar, but the STI seats have the headrest attached, not adjustable like ours. This new STI is very tempting, I have considered it a few times, but will probably stick to the LGT just to save money. Also, next year Subaru will probably release a total new and re-designed Impreza line up. I would rather wait to see what that will be like, but it will be atleast 2 years before we see one of those new cars in America.
Jedi Pimp
Will Mitsubishi even survive long enough for the next EVO to get here is the real question. TSiWRX
I honestly believe that I'd have been able to talk the wifey into letting me get one of these gorgeous puppies, had they been out at the time I was shopping for the LGT. I'd hit it. wukindada
I've been hearing pricing more in the 35-37k range. Some dealers are offering prices 100 over invoice but you all need to verify pricing first;) Toyota 6EATS .........SUCK!!!!!!

Is that what you are implying? If so, keep in mind some people value class or comfort over power.
