Billy Dagwood
OK! So I've wanted a set of JDM sedan tails seemingly FOREVER now, but I haven't wanted to fork over the hundreds to japanparts.com Would it be cheaper/easier to get a set of eurospec tails? Anybody know how? Anybody wanna GB some?
red beast
they are the same and more expensive coming from england because of the exchange rate. the only difference is a small piece of clear plastic in the mid section. you won't get a "woodie" over it. new2subu
I just checked out japanparts.com and can't see any difference between stock tails and their offering. What am I missing?
Billy Dagwood
the outside half of the middle section consists of an amber directional. Also, the light-up pattern is a bit different. I like that they look stock, but I think the added directionals provide a safety bonus, and I prefer the aesthetics of having them as well. You can see the differences very clearly here. new2subu
I get it now. Thanks. Not bad looking. One of my tails has a small crack. Wondering if I should use that as an excuse to install these. Hmmm.

new2subu
I hear you, HungHing88! I wish I could talk myself into going Cobb AP, Stage I. But I'm afraid to void the warranty. So, its only cosmetic and audio mods for now.
kanoswrx
Check out the 2007 JDM model tail lights, those actually look different (noticeably) different then the 05/06/07 USDM legacy tail lights. I would opt for a set of those instead.
new2subu
Thanks for the tip. Besides japanparts.com , I can't find any other vendors that sell tail lights for the 2005 Legacy. Where can I see the 2007 JDM lights?
kanoswrx
You can check the Subaru Japan site. SUBARU|LEGACY B4
psucaptainkickass
2007 JDM lights won't fit our cars until 2008, if SOA doesn't change the taillights for the US market

Billy Dagwood
$1.00 US = .543 pounds = 114.447 yen I'm assuming they'll be pretty much the same price everywhere (?) My reason for asking about the euro lights was because I imagine I would save a bundle on shipping. Doncha think? HOWEVER it all becomes moot if you seriously want to sell me yours, red beast (as long as they're in good shape).
andrew.anderson
The exchange rate with the Euro is not as bad.
