Most of the beaches said no and the ones that didn't say no said we have to get some type of insurance and pay application fees if we want to have a large group. It's a lot of work just to have a fun day at the beach. And none of them will hold parking spaces, save fire pits or give parking during the peak summer months. But no one can keep us from going to the beach and having a good time on our own while this country is still free, right?. We just won't be able to park all together and I am going to have to get up super early to save us some fire pits. That is if we decide to go to the beach. Please go to SubieTech.net for all of the info. Dont forget to regester and add your car to the Socal subie section. here are our options: 1. We have a BBQ at Bolsa Chica State Beach - 10am to 3pm (everyone must bring something to eat or drink. It's $10 to park at the beach) 2. We have a bonfire at Bolsa Chica State Beach - 5pm to 10pm (No BBQ. Bring your own drinks and snacks. It's $10 to park at the beach) 3. Party and BBQ all day at Bolsa Chica State Beach - 10am to 10pm (everyone must bring something to BBQ or drink. It's $10 to park at the beach) 4. Drive about 90 miles through the cool (not hot) local mountains - 10am to 4pm BBQ at a lake plus some nice canyon driving. Full tank of gas required.
