Just hacking up a stock muffler could hurt performance... and it will be quite difficult, IMHO, to get the sound you want. That being said... I wish you the best of luck. Maybe you'll get lucky! I had a couple of domestic guys turn OFF their radios (it's warm here in NE-Ohio lately, so people have been doing the windows open, loud music, thing) to hear what's up with my car. If anybody wants them; I'll let them go for $75 shipped. They are just pipes bent to fit with polished tips. I bought them from someone here. I think HogMeat actually owned them at one time.
