Blitzen in EU

I went to my local dealer here in Stockholm last night with some trouble with my handsfree(which will get fixed) and he told me that Subaru here in Sweden(don't know about the rest of Europe) will bring in the blitzen in that red colour.

Why? Because people(like me) can't really see the difference between the 3.0R and the Spec.B.

I asked him about a trade in with my 06 spec.B and he just grinned. Not worth it!

It will come with the six cylinder 3 litre engine. It'll be fun to see it in real life though.

Damn. The whole rest of the world is getting the Blitzen. What is next? Everyone will be getting the STI Tuned Legacy, as well?

But not North America, naw. that "Wouldn't be Prudent... Nah Ghanna." (Dana Carvey impersonation of George Bush the senior.)

DAMNIT. I have wanted a bright red or blue Legacy for a REALLY long time. Now it looks like it will be available EVERYWHERE but here.

Anyway, Petmor, congrats and good luck if you decide to trade. It will probably come in both wagon and sedan formats, Just like the Austrailian market 3.0R Blitzen. (I think JDM is still the 2.0-T Twin-scroll GT Spec B grade Blitzen, same car, with the other drivetrain)

Only because it seems like there is a good amount that we can't have, and for no real good reason.

Honestly, though I have wanted either a bright red or bright blue Legacy for a while, and now as I get close to buying one... the red is available everywhere but the US, now.

Actually the flush-mesh grille is the easiest thing to change. Any larger Spec B (non-USDM) or outback grille should fit, including this cool one... (I wonder if this K2-Gear car started off as a blitzen wagon... color looks very close...)

We haven't got that red colour. Yet I should say.

yet being the operative word, but this whole thread is about Europe getting the Blitzen model.

In that case, you will be getting this color red.

I can't say the same for North America, which is what upsets me. I love that color on the Legacy, and WRB, too.
