rexster Posted May 13, 2006 Share Posted May 13, 2006 that's a great deal! i paid 155/tire for 225/45/17 XLs. i'm guessing there's not much difference between the two except the inrceased load rating. the tire rack told me the XL has a reinforced tread wall, but the same side wall. the sidewalls on my XL's are pretty soft.
