leggtnut
Ok, I picked up the rock blocker pro kit and I have gotten everything on the car except for the bumper. I can't for the life of me figure it out. I know that it needs to streach some, but about 4 inches in each direction??? The part that lines up around the grill fits great. but I can't get the fender sides, under the lights and around the fog lights to fit, it just bunches up in these areas. Am I suposed to cut or can I take a hair dryer to shrink it? I am just clueless. CreoSTi
After installing headlight protection film and smaller sections of a front lip spoiler, I'd definitely defer to a professional if/when I get my front bumper covered. It's not as easy as it looks, and I'm impatient. Jeremy installed it, right? -Mike-
leggtnut
Yep and dam he did a great job. And he has a really good looking silver STI. I was impatient as well and didn't really look at the kit before starting. and whats worse, a 9 hour install of myown he took it off in 5 minutes, hehe. Just sucks that I ended up paying for it twice in a sence. But I am so happy now. I couldn't find the memory for the digital camera last night, and I got home really late from work so pic's tonight . leggtnut
note even. I am in about 675. Yah, I know I should have had invisiguard do it the first time. But hey, it was a learning experiance and definatally a wallet lightener, hehe. pillboy
Kids...don't even think about trying this at home. It is art. Or at least an aquired skill. Mine was $502 (installed) for hood, fenders, door handles, rear bumper by trunk opening, headlights, and foglights. It is still ugly.
