Eyecandy

Recommended Posts

most people that look at my GT Ltd are usually younger Subaru drivers. however I am treated nicely in this sunglass place even though I wear my sandals (w/o socks!!! :D) most of the time... the sales people love my car!

Yesterday on the road, I pointed out excited at a white GT to my missus. She said it's not very distinctive unlike the rest of the other Subaru lineups. Meh! I love it! Weird day. I've not see so many GT in a day! 3 - white, dark blue and a dark blue wagon! Yay!
do u guyz think the 2005 is eyecandy. do u guyz get a lot of stares or is just an ordinary car...atleast to the public
I took my car up to our family reunion yesterday, and spent more time showing off the car than spending time with the family. Test drives, questions Many people just thought it was beautiful. It was a very, very sunny day, so the Garnet Red Pearl looked very nice. Rob

I dont think the US Legacy GT Sedan is that exciting to look at - it reminds me of a Camry or an Accord. I think they would look ok with the spoiler package, some tinted windows and new wheels but they just don't exude near as much style that you see in other sports sedands from BMW, Audi and Lexus. Now if the US version looked like this Legacy B4 - http://www.legacygt.com/album_page.php?pic_id=51 Then you would have a lot more to talk about.

My LGT wagon's been getting the eye - I catch people checking out the wheels. I think it's a great-looking car. One guy in the parking lot invited me to park next to his BMW since we'd take care not to dent each other. I'm in the club!

Eye Candy? No. Still an attractive car though. And after reading WRX horror stories about "police escorts", I am kinda glad my car blends in.
Am I the only one whothinks it looks like the previous generation Nissan Altima with a Camry like rear end?
You are not the only one. Although the Camry rear end looks similar, just the Altima itself looks very much like the Legacy.

Yeah, I have been getting some looks. It seems that I get a lot of kids in their "rice mobiles" checking the car out when I am at stop lights. I think they are trying to figure out what make the car it is since it is so new. I also have a turbo back exhaust on the car which gives it a deep throaty sound which draws some attention. John

I have a 2003 camry and my 2005 LGT parked next to eachother in the garage. I'll take a picture this evening. Tail lights are very similar.
This has been covered many times. If you feel the need to post a pic be my guest I guess...
Yes and I've been there to read it whenever it was discussed. I had never seen a new camry and a new lgt back to back so I felt I would be contributing to the comparo analysis in posting an image. But since you are so inclined to hint that it's pointless, I'll just not take the picture.
