wcbjr
Nope, won't fit without a spacer. However, they will fit with about 3 layers of Dynamat under the speaker. I forgot what I was supposed to remember.
PGT
was a new thread really needed to tell us that?
wcbjr
Maybe not. But alas, I am really bored at work. I will cease from making less-informative posts in the future. I forgot what I was supposed to remember.
PGT
posts are fine, just not new threads unless they can last more than four replies, which I doubt this one will reach.

PeterJMC
How big of a spacer do you need? What kind of Dynamat are you using?
mlrtime
We'll get this thread to two pages! Where is a good place to get spacers, are they all the same for our cars?
PeterJMC
Do you have any pictures of this? I'd like to see what you are describing.
wcbjr
If anyone wants my 3/4" MDF spacers, I can send em to ya for a small fee. And I am using 3 layers of B-Quiet Extreme for the spacer. http://www.b-quiet.com/extreme.html That would equate to a 3.45mm think spacer needed for the Polks to fit. I forgot what I was supposed to remember.
PeterJMC
How much dampening did you do on your car? Where did you apply it, and how much did it cost for the materials? PGT recommended that I get b-quiet, and I think I'll be picking some up come summer time.
wcbjr
I picked up a 50ft roll. Applied 1-2 layers to the trunk lid. 1-2 layers to the rear deck. 1 layer to each door panel. Some to the insides of the door panels behind the midranges. Have about 15 feet leftover. Took a couple days. And remember to do it while it's mild to warm outside or it won't stick very well. $85 all total. I need to do some on the rear fenders, just haven't gotten to it yet. I forgot what I was supposed to remember.
PeterJMC
Where did you order it from for $85?
