I did the map light mod.

Then I got the electric schematics for the car.

Now I'm going to have some real fun!! (I'm an electronics guy).

 

So, last night I invented a new mod, and put it in my car,

let's call it "tap turn" ... works like this: tap the signal stalk (without clicking it into turn position) just enough so it makes contact but then release it (stalk springs back to neutral position).. By doing this the car sends out 3 signal pulses in the tapped direction and then stops signaling automatically. Of course, if you can still click the stalk into position and have the car signal all day long in that direction, which is how I've seen some people drive. Completing a turn or canceling the stalk manually shuts off the signaling.. per "usual".

 

Currently the mod is beta - and there's a lag after a stalk cancel - i.e. you get three "bonus" flashes, or 1.8 seconds' worth of continued flashing to be precise, after a cancel. A mod-mod can remove this lag but I want to find out if it's even worthwhile after a bit of real life driving.

10. Kartboy shifter and front bushing

11. Tinted the sunroof(why would they make a piece of glass that big and not tint it?)

12. Took out the kartboy front bushing. ( It made it hard to shift and made the tranny hum. That's not good. Now it shiftes great.)

13. put on the F&R whiteline lat. locks on the swaybars
