Beanboy
Sure some have found this, but I did a little digging to see the numbers that Subaru is using in their ads when it comes to acceleration: The 2005 Legacy GT Sedan is faster from 0-60 (5.84 sec) than the Porsche Boxster (6.36 sec). The 2005 Legacy GT Sedan is faster in 1/4 mile acceleration (14.44 sec) than the Porsche Boxster (14.8 sec). The 2005 Outback XT is faster from 0-60(5.92 sec) than the BMW 330 Xi (6.59 sec). -B -B http://www.standardshift.com
ssaldana
Thanks for the info. Anyone take their GT's to the track yet? if so post your results!
Beanboy
Just doing a little searching for the numbers for the other cars, seems that Subaru might be a little less conservative on the numbers versus the WRX. Still, it seems that a few more tenths in the 1/4 will be within easy reach for a good driver. -B http://www.standardshift.com

3.7L H6
Wait for C&D to give the tranny/chassis/engine a good workout. Then we'll see some numbers.
Th3Franz
I might take mine for a couple runs next Friday if I am back in town. I won't beat on it though, so my times probably won't be the fastest. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz

What did the XT do in the 1/4 mile? Also, Subaru's "watch the competition in your rear view mirror" campaign seems to be getting through. Over the past few weeks I've had a few people ask me about it.
