OCDetails
It's what we're here for. If you notice any rattling then check to see if it is rubbing along the top of the engine cover. Mine started rattling and I put a piece of foam tape on the underside of the bar right over the driver side top corner of the cover. Rattling stopped. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . scatman
Mine rattled also, took a dremel and tastfully shaved off a little cover, no big deal.
KartRacerBoy
I noticed that issue earlier in this thread, and I thought I notice a new sound on my drive but it seemed to go away. I'll keep an eye out.
jasonetc
I just finally got my money back from ASPEC products yesterday, I bought the damn thing in February!
KartRacerBoy
Jasonetc is gonna think I'm an idiot, but now I'm thinking about the A-Spec rear strut bar for my wagon, or perhaps another brand of rear strut bar. Given the big open box, I wouldn't be surprised if the rear bar is more useful than the front one. Has anyone tried it and what is entailed in the installation? Does the interior bodywork behind the rear seat have to be cut into at all?

OCDetails
For as much good as they do in normal driving, I'd say that my $40 bling is greater than $200 bling. If it is for appearance then there is no reason to blow that much money. If you need it for autox or something, then yeah... go for the good stuff. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S . KartRacerBoy
Ye gods. I finally had a chance to wring my LGT with the new FSB in place and frankly didn't notice any difference (not that really wring it out on the street), but by the time I got home it was rattling like a snake. If I didn't know what it was I woulda thought I was driving some ohv clunker and I threw a rod. I did some surgery on the engine cover this morning with my Dremel tool. Solved the problem. Again, thanks for the heads up.
LGT Chris
I'm looking at the Cusco 23mm front/21mm rears. Probably should do end-links too. http://www.flatironstuning.com/shop/pc-986-236-cusco-legacy-gt-sway-bars.aspx What about the Cusco front and rear lower arm bars? Anyone have experience with these? The wagon's ass could use all the tightening it can get. http://www.flatironstuning.com/shop/pc-985-236-cusco-legacy-gt-front-lower-arm-bar-type-2-05.aspx http://www.flatironstuning.com/shop/pc-984-236-cusco-legacy-gt-rear-lower-arm-bar-version-2-05.aspx 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Luxomissle waGONE
