Th3Franz
My front passenger window was shattered when people broke into my car. I had the dealership replace the window, and after they installed it, it goes up and down really slowly and it wobbles and makes a noise when I raise or lower the window. I brought the car in to have these problems addressed today. After the techs diagnosed and tried to fix it, the service advisor told me that the window is securely mounted. He also told me there may be glass in the window track that is causing the problems. I was wondering what can be done about this since it says that the techs were unable to clean out the glass pieces that are interfering. My insurance isn't covering the window replacement since my deductible is greater than the damage. I'm sorry but if a person pays $300 for a window replacement, it should work like it did from the factory. Anyone have an idea how to remove the track and stop the interference? The dealership hasn't been that helpful so far... I just sent them an e-mail today but wanted to find out if you guys had some ideas. I'm not real sure how our windows work, internally. On a funny note, there were two other 05 cars, a Legacy and Outback. The Outback needed 2 head light bulbs replaced, and the Legacy was on its 4th head light bulb. Our cars love to eat head lights. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz

Boulderguy
If you paid them to fix it they should fix it. That's ridiculous.
