PhilT
Came across these ADR wheels on EBay, too good to be true ? Probably, but you can never tell http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8038918285&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:CA:77#ebayphotohosting Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon

hal9e3
Yep, them be bricks. Also, $135 to ship!?! He's making all of his money there. Does seem to be a standup guy from his FB profile tho. What do these wheels retail for? Oh, yeah, forgot one thing. That offset is fine for Subies but if a Honda/Acura/Toyota owner buys 'em s/he's going to be in for a surprise:mad:

MUD
I wonder what the weight is of the Battle Exe in 19" is. I requested a quote for these wheels a little while back and they turned out to be over 300$ per wheel..... which is the ouchiez! Are they worth that? Is ADR a solid manufacturer? It is the disposition of men to desire that which he cannot have, hence my un-quenchable wet desire for Shakira!
PhilT
ADR seems to have a pretty good reputation, that's why they caught my eye. Looking on other websites they (and the other ADR's that they sell) retail around $200 each. Maybe they have some stock that fell off the proverbial truck ? Not a bad buy if you are just looking for bling ! Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon
EL PAALO
that width/offset is actually fine for many honda/acura/toyota/lexus vehicles. 5th gen preludes, rsx, and sc300 are just the first three I can think of ....... discontinued wheels go for cheap. I'd much rather have the rp02's at edgeracing for not much more money and 10 lbs less per wheel.

sgt
So many wheels on ebay that I would buy, but they all require those "tuner" lugnuts which I refuse to use.

sgt
Ive seen too many rust and/or split open or round out. I rather stick with std nuts.
EL PAALO
assuming you're talking about the style requiring the key to be inserted in the center ......... agreed, not a good design.
PhilT
What about McGard lugs ? Surely aren't they reputed to be the best ? Or splined lugs, why would they rust or split open any different than regular lugs ? Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon
EL PAALO
Those are fine. He's talking about this kind afaik, which are likely needed for those wheels: http://www.jegs.com/photos/359ek80top.jpg
