BLACKeNeD
I used to have them on my 17" for my Audi, and am wondering how they are on the 18"s. I loved them on my 17"s. Looking for a good summer tire for when I get my New rims...TGFTR (thank God For Tax Returns). Prob going with Volk LE28N's in all their 18" goodness. zildjiank
Soon enough, I will let you all know on this topic. I bought my T1Rs (245/35/18) and some SSR Comps... Can't wait to lay down that rubber... I would recommend them, however, I haven't even driven on em yet...
BLACKeNeD
Thanks I loved them on my TT. Just wondering there is any diff with the bigger rim size, ie. noise and grip.
wukindada
Have had them on now for about 4k......love them. One of the best tires I have EVER had. Even though they are a 280 treadwear they perform like a much softer tire.....little road noise....excellet wet & dry performance. Brack
I just put on T1S's(225/40/18) on a set of Prodrive PFF7's(18x8) and I really like them. A lot quieter was my first impression. I had the stock wheels on with Potenza RE070's. I'll be saving the 070's for track time.
praedet
Anyone got some real world comparison between T1Rs and Goodyear F1 GS-D3s? I know about the magazine ratings, just wondering what everyone has experienced... Ted
wukindada
I had F1's on the Roush very nice tire but VERY weak sidewall. Had to really pump them up so they would not roll:( They are a tad quieter...than the T1R Another downside to the F1 is the fact they pick up so much off the road**treadpattern** I would always hear little stones hitting the undercarriage of the car. eVoMotion
I REALLY like the T1-Rs. They have a firm sidewall, tenacious grip and a good rain tread pattern - standing water is not an issue.

Xenonk
one of the lightest tires out there.. it's just that they are soft compound tires for a high performance tire. Keefe
