Spaceman3
Got it last month, but I haven't been able to drive it until yesterday. I had to go on a business trip the day after I bought it.

Spaceman3
Hey, Welcome to Twin Turbro club! But one question: Didnt the twin turbos come with 4EAT tranny? You seem to have a regular auto... hmmm... You live in Okinawa? This is my first Subie. I really don't know. Some of the folks already replied about it. Is the 4EAT tranny any good? I've noticed quite of bit torque converter lock-up. Other than that...she's a real honey to drive. Pretty quick too. I got it for a really nice price. Oh yeah....I am in Okinawa. rfd425
I don't know anything about them, but it sure is a great-looking car! I love seeing some of those older high-performance Legacies that never made it to the USA.
speeding_gaijin
Regular auto = 4EAT Hmm maybe I got the terminology wrong. I was talking about the one where you can change gears on steering wheel and stuff, similar to what they have on leggis now, but with 4 gears.... thats what i have

Spaceman3
:( ...I didnt like my 4eat so much :icon_bigg ....but I like my 5 speed Yeah! I hear ya, I would rather have a 5-speed, too. But, Subarus are pretty rare here in Okinawa. So, I guess I just gotta' get what I could find. If I could bring this back to the states it would make a killer autocross machine. I prefer autos on smaller courses.
