dan_m
.... looked at fuse box labelings in car manual but the power seats aren't listed anywhere, anyone know which fuse it is? thx.
ilh
According to the "vacation" pics, the power for the seats comes through the "power window circuit breaker" and then the main fuse box, SBF-5. Are your power windows functional?

dan_m
yup, windows are working fine, I even tried the seat heaters- they work fine as well, everything seems to be fine except the power seats won't budge and the manual doesn't list them so I don't know which fuse to yank out and replace ughhh.. : (

dan_m
damn, still haven't had the chance to bring my car to the dealer yet ( too busy ) and although my seats are locked in the 'correct' position they aren't so for my wifey- result: she can't drive the car. This is starting to be a real nuisance now.. the dealer tells me he has to have my ( out of waranty ) car in person to fix it.... what a load of %#$#@$ craop! The fuse controlling the pwr seats isn't identified in the user manual nor is it labelled in the fuse panels, so the call goes out again, does anyone know which fri%^%$#ng fuse it is? easton
You could use one of thos fuse testers by Buss. You just put the test leads on the fuse while it is still in the holder and it basically checks for continuity. This is a great tool to keep in the car for just this reason. http://www.acehardware.com/sm-buss-fuses-and-reg-fuse-tester-bp-ft-2--pi-1291779.html You should be able to find one of these at Shucks/Kragen/Checker, Pep Boys, or Napa. panamajack
non-limited ownz again. Sounds like a fuse. Im sure thats covered under warranty. Sounds like something that the dealers have delt with before, seeing as a couple of you have this issue.

dan_m
just got back from dealer verdict- condensation/water seepage in wiring harness under driver seat. Tech guy said it was an accumilation of winter snow thawing out that did me in, he recommended vacuuming the floor once a month with a shop-vac. 1.5 hr fix total funny this never happened in any of my other cars heh. car seats work great now but get ready to pay for this one boys
