Jim L
Just got the tranny fluid switched out with redline. The guy showed me the magnetic plugs from the rear diff and tranny. Definitely had some metal shavings (more than expected I guess). Have any of you guys gotten to see the plug? I didn't have my camera so I couldn't take any photos. I never beat on the car, no drag passes, rarely ever race through the gears. I just hope what I had is normal and not extreme wear for some reason. mccorry
Some shavings on the plugs is normal for a brand new car IMHO. There is a lot of break in wear that occours as the teeth, synchros, etc. mate up. Next change shouldn't have as much.

Most people here know I put my car through some tough miles (track, autox, a lot of spirited driving including about 500 miles on the "Tail of the Dragon". Here's mine at my 30,000~36,000 mile 'tune-up': http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22157 http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/7527/img01259fi.jpg Keefe
