RaGe
just digging up an old thread. Curious how the perrins are holding up. Considering getting this CBE myself. OTM. Sorry I didn't mean to start a war which mainly forum people is all about .

tommypenguin
I actually purchased 2simpleton's exhaust that is pictured in this thread. I have had the perrin catless dp on for a month, definitely not feeling the exhaust smell of being catless. I'm already looking to get a cobb catted downpipe to mate with my perrin catback. Also the perrin dp rests against the firewall:redface:. The catback looks great mounted, but to get it to not rattle took work, a couple times of putting my car on jack stands and having to flex or cut heat shield out of the way. I love the sound of the exhaust, but for fitment, perrin is questionable. Because of fitment, I'm not going with a perrin catted dp to replace my catless dp. I will go with a cobb which is about as safe as you can get for fitment, which goes a long way with these troublesome fitting exhaust parts.
