Hi everyone.  This is my first post on this forum.  I've been a lurker who's gotten all recommendations from this forum so wanted to thank everyone for their advice.  Here's a little history about the car.   I bought it in 4/2019 from Dallas, Texas on Autotrader with 100,900 miles at the time.  I flew there from CA and drove it back.  Bought from the original owner, who was selling it because he bought his daughter a car and needed garage space.   I've been driving it mainly as a daily driver, no track usage, a few canyon runs at Angeles Crest, and no accidents.  I bought a BMW M2 a couple of years ago, so I've been splitting duties between those cars since then.  My wife just bought an Audi SQ8 so need to sell a car (also have a Kia Telluride) and this one got the short end of the straw.  I really want to sell this car to an enthusiast/someone who knows Subaru's well, so I'm posting on this forum first.  Here's some important facts about the car:

Mods:

Borla exhaust

STI Pink wagon springs

Bilstein B6 Shocks and struts

JDM rear sway bar 20mm

Whiteline rear sway bar bushings

AVO rear sway bar mount

Kartboy rear endlinks

Kartboy front and rear stay bushings for shifter

TIC trunion bushings for shifter

Project Mu NS400 brake pads (23,000 miles on them)

Centric premium rotors (23,000 miles on them)

Catless Up Pipe from used WRX

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires 225/45/18 (20,000 miles on them)

Whiteline rear diff bushings (KDT903 and KDT905)

Maintenance (have all documentation since I've owned it, have some documentation from previous owner):

Timing belt and clutch replaced by previous owner at 92,000 at dealership (documents included)

Regular oil changes using Motul 5W-30 every 3,000 miles more or less since I've owned it

Passenger and driver side valve cover gaskets replaced at 107Kk and 121k respectively

Banjo bolts removed

MAF sensor replaced with OEM Denso at 124k

Most maintenance done by AQ Motorsport in Gardena, CA (Subaru specialists, Yelp reviews speak for themselves)

Pic of CarFax is from when I bought the car

Other important facts:

Cobb AccessPORT - I had the car e-tuned by Cryotune (recommended by this forum) at 110k (Stage 1).  Recently, I got a P0171 system lean code.  Had the car checked out by local mechanic and got a new MAF sensor to see if that was the issue.  CEL went away for a bit but came back.  AQ Motorsport checked it out and couldn't find anything wrong, so they removed the tune and unmarried the AP to see if the tune was the issue.  No CEL since then.  Not really sure why the tune was causing issues, but car is running smoothly now and no issues.  AP is NOT included, already sold separately.

Interior condition:  Immaculate given the mileage.  When I bought it, I replaced all of the interior black plastic handles, front speaker covers, AC vent covers, center console armrest, new gas cap (plastic string that attached to car was broken), new wipers, and new blower motor for AC.  The leather is still in great condition (minor normal wear, no rips).  Sticky dash was replaced by previous owner.  Navigation and radio still work (never tried the CD changer), no lettering on the dash has been rubbed off, leather steering wheel and shifter is showing normal use.  AC still blows cold.  Sunroof opens with no issues.  Have to open glove box carefully because the piece that connects is loose.  I hear a slight squeak from the rear passenger side seat.  No other noticeable squeaks or rattles.

Exterior condition:  Not the greatest, but not terrible either.  Probably the worst thing about the car.  The front has a lot of chips, most if not all from previous owner.  There's chips/marks all over the car, but mainly on the front bumper area (see pics for some examples).  If you look at it from 10 ft away, it looks great, any closer and yeah...I'm trying to set expectations, so depending on your perspective, it will look better or worse in person :).  There's barely noticeable dents on the upper parts of the doors.  I had a paintless dent repair guy come when I first bought the car who fixed most of the dents but couldn't fix some because of the location.  It's hardly noticeable unless you look at it from an angle.   No rust on bottom of car (pic is from 4/2022 when I got an alignment).  The tint is from the previous owner.  I don't think it was the greatest job, as the tint does not go all the way to the edge of the window, but other than that, it's held up well.  Not really purplish yet.  I don't know the brand of the tint, and I'm guessing it's about 35-40%ish tint.  I disabled the daytime running lights (unplugged fuse by driver side).   I had the headlights cleaned from oxidation when I bought the car.   Not perfectly clear but not yellow.  But I'm including headlight restoration kits that I bought but never used in the sale!

Driveablity:  Drives smooth, no issues.  Only quirk is sometimes it's really hard to get in the reverse gear.  I have to jam it in there.  Handles great with the mods.

Included in sale:

3 keys, 2 remotes (pic is missing 1 key and 1 remote that I've been using)

Owners Manual

Original window sticker

Original navigation DVD

2 headlight restoration kits (3M and Sylvania)

MAF sensor cleaner

Bluetooth wireless radio adapter transmitter (set it to a blank radio station and you can play music from your phone, brand is IMDEN Bluetooth 5.0 FM transmitter on Amazon)

Whiteline rear diff KDT903 insert bushings (the KDT905 bushings included full bushings, so I didn't need the inserts)

That's it for now.  I have more pictures, so please contact me if you want to see them.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks!

Dude, that is a nice looking example and all, and California clean…

But you have the dubious distinction of selling an ‘05 Spec. The only year they *didn’t* get the 6MT. And let’s be real…. That’s why people want them.

Have you looked at comparables on here?

Beat of luck with the sale! But a 5MT is gonna be a hard sale even at the reduced price. 😬
