2.5i NA Oil Catch Can installed

Recommended Posts

I don't know if I installed these correctly but I connected 1 can from the PCV valve to the intake manifold. Then, not sure about this 1, I installed the second because it seems like the same concept, from (between) just under the PCV valve to the intake chamber.

There are 2 other vacuum hoses that run to the intake chamber, not sure if anything should be done with those.

The Oil Catch Cans are 2 different basic and cheap Amazon specials.

LOL.  RICE.

My 03 Forester with a BUILT EJ2.5 at 10.5:1 compression had zero blow by.  Even a turbo car does not need a dual catch can set up until it is making north of 20psi and tracked (long periods of WOT).

Odd mod for a non-turbo car.  really digging the variety of clamps.

Agreed.  Unless he has a lot of blow by due to bad rings.  That would be the only reason for me besides being a DI not port injected motor.
