It's probably less that they care and more that they want to make sure people aren't feeling screwed, but it is nice, nonetheless. I've never had my car serviced at a dealer, so I can't comment on my own experience. I kind of fear going to a dealer knowing that it's been modded and prefer to do my own work. If it's beyond the tools I own, there's a couple Suby techs down the road from me that work after hours for damn good prices- have their own shop with life, tools, air compressor and everything :cool: Only had to use them once=my skillz w/teh tools are pretty good.

no call at all.

follow up calls is kind of a dealer specific thing. some feel they need to do it and some dont bother at all. i bought my mazda and my subby at the same dealership and have yet to get a follow up call, or any other kind of call regarding my cars.

Work hard. Play even harder.
