Most are fairly old now and I will attempt to add any info about the car, owner/member, meet, etc that I can honestly recall. Figured I might as well post them all in one place for posterity. From the beginning..... My first Legacy GT Limited. 2005 LGT Limited 5EAT purchased used in 2007 with 13k on the clock in So Cal and trailer-ed to NY where my wife drove her for a year before she was sold to another member. This was early in our relationship, pre-shop. I think the pix were taken while working on the car in the back yard. IIrc I was installing a JDM twinscroll set up. Finished her "enough" at the new shop to take the car to SubieFest 2010. We won Best of Show. Then it was off to SEMA. Took me approximately 6 years to fix it, build it and finish it. But when it was done it was a white wagon and I sold it to a friend in dire need for $1500. Largest turn out yet, largest toy donation gathered yet. Biggest raffle yet (WAY over $10k in prizes). Cars overflowing into neighboring parking lots. Local club (SDS) held a cruise/caravan to the event. Um, did someone call the police???? No, they drive Subies!!!!!! Dec 2014. m sprank Posted February 2, 2023 Author Share Posted February 2, 2023 (edited) My (wifes) 08 LGT 5EAT at Subiefest 2013, along with other pix from the event. By this time it had long been my wifes second LGT and had gone through countless modifications as a test mule. This car brought my baby girl home from the hospital. Life changing event and the first time I was proud of driving one of the safest cars on the road. As all good things come to an end, back to "stock" she went and we parted ways in 2018. I traded the car in for an Acura that I gave to my wife. Have no fear, the Acura was modified prior to her ever seeing it. She knew the wheels were aftermarket, but had no idea the car was lowered with a fully adjustable rear suspension and 4 wheel steering. First time I met @Longitude was at his home to install a set of cleared lamps and a front lip on his LGT. Circa 2010. He was a valued customer until the shop closed. What was the deal with that cage? i tried to buy it but owner said it couldn't be sold. Spiderpig !! Max took me on a wild ride through his town before he started on the conversion. Then called me for weeks afterwards about how to drive faster. That sure paid off. You created so many beautiful cars & memories. Several parts supplied by Cusco were JDM market only. There was "a bit" of modification to make the cage fit. The cage itself was modified. Cusco sent us two cages to make one. Cusco was adamant (and it was stipulated in the contract) that none of the parts would be sold off the car. Body kit too.
