carrman
Got a 2017 Legacy Premium, and installed LED's in my corner markers, license plate lights and interior lights. Interior lights were all Diode Dynamics lights, and all the exterior lights were from Superbright LED's. Well I found out this morning with the headlights on I couldnt get into the car after I used the remote start. Shut the car off, and when the headlight timer ran out, keyless entry worked again like normal. I ruled out the interior lights by turning the parking lights on and off and trying the fob. I started with the license lights and removed the the bulbs. Keyless worked normally. I replaced the bulbs with a different style of LED and keyless continued working. Snapped the sockets back into place, and put the access panel back up and closed the trunk. Turned the lights on and lost keyless again. So, is the keyless receiver near the trunk, and what brand of LED's can I use that won't give me interference?
Painless
Looks like the "Outdoor Antenna" is located in the trunk. So your theory makes sense though I have LED's installed for my license plate lights (actually... all of my lights I have upgraded to LED) on both of my Legacys. No issues. Antenna location info attached.2016 SUBARU LEGACY SERVICE MANUAL - Keyless Access Indoor & Outdoor Antenna.pdf

carrman
Figured it out, it was the rear marker lights. I'd replaced them with sine from Superbright LED's, and they were causing the interference with the trunk closed. I removed the plate lights just to rule them out, and I couldn't get the keyless to work with the rear markers installed and the trunk shut. I need better quality LED's for this.
