Resbum
I've used the search function here and at NASIOC with multiple key words and couldn't find an answer. No joy with Google, either. FSM wasn't any help. I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row before starting. i.e. Have all the right tools and parts ready before starting. I have the Tomioka Racing kit. Lines, FPR, gauge, and rails. One question I haven't found an answer for is this. Do I need to remove the manifold and TGV housings or just the manifold in order to remove the old hard lines and route the new lines? Mostly, do I need to remove the TGV's to remove the old hard lines? I need to know which intake gaskets to order. intake to tgv or tgv to cylinder head. Or all of them? Also, should I leave both dampeners in place to start with, remove one (which one), remove both? Thanks. Resbum
rhino6303
Yes, yes and yes. Remove all and replace all gaskets. I would keep or add any dampers you can to keep everything happy.
JoeInOregon
Ya wile you have it apart plan in intake gaskets, tgv gaskets, throttle body gasket, egr port gasket, and a bunch of vacuum hose. If it's anything like mine you will find they all are in poor shape. I really am not happy with all the extra work but after seeing the state of everything I'm glad I took the manifold apart Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
