TCollazo
*****Apologies to all that reached out, but this is no longer for sale. I will re-post again come spring. I will also take this listing down once I figure out how I have babied this car since the day of purchase. I never raced this car, never red-lined it never off roaded. To be honest, this car has been wasted on a ohttps://legacygt.com/forums/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=6046030verly cautious driver. I have done a bit of after market modifications, but when I did the pro-tune I was very particular and asked that the tune can be done with health and life of the car as the number 1 consideration. It is a modest tune and if you so desired, can be re-tuned and get quite a bit more juice out of the modifications I have done. Reason for selling: As you can tell with the note above about the modest tune, my number 1 priority was to keep this car happy and healthy so I could drive it as long as possible. However, we just had a new baby, my wife cant drive 5-speed and we need both cars in the family to be interchangeable. So she just got a new Subaru Outback XT and I may be inheriting her old car or getting another. I'll miss my legacy without a doubt but I'll be able to scratch that turbo itch with the Outback XT . TCollazo
Wait , there’s a recall on our dashes?? When did this happen?? I got the recall notice years back but didn't actually see the problem until about 2 years ago, but they still honored it with some convincing. However, it wasn't technically a recall. They called it something else, but came to me as a recall. The dash material starts to degrade and turn "sticky". Everything stuck to it (dust hair, whatever). Couldn't just wipe stuff off. Now I have a brand new dash, which was nice for an OCD person like me that likes a clean dash

TCollazo
On cly 3 was it a bad piston or a bad coil? It was a bad ignition coil. I was getting sporadic Cylinder 3 misfire codes (P0303). Apparently, according to a Subaru, these just go bad after time. Easy fix.
TCollazo
Whoa no way My 05 gt def has that problem!!! It’s horrible it’s happening to my door trim panels too!! I wonder why I never received any thing from Subaru All I ever got was a ton of recall notices about the takata airbag in my passenger side.... Sorry to hear that. I wasn't having the issue on my door panels, just the dash. I also wasn't having the issue when I received the notice either. It started happening a few years after that. So I did a little digging and looked at the ppw for the repair and it reminded me what happened. I called Subaru of America when it started happening and asked about a recall, which they weren't ale to find. Turns out, they were extending the warranty for this specific issue to certain legacy owners that may be having this issue. So on my repair order its listed as "warranty". Because it was 3-4 years after I received the notice, it took some convincing, but they still replaced it. I'd say give Subaru of America a call and see how far you get.
