What was Subaru thinking?

I was thinking about trading my 2018 3.6r for the 2021 XT but I can't stand the looks of the front end.

 

The 2018-2019 models are my favorite current-looking (within the past 10 years) legacy models. Gonna enjoy my current ride then.

I also like the 6 gen looks better than the 7 gen. The 7th Legacy looks so generic it made it easier to move to an Outback.

Every time I see another 6th gen Legacy on the road, I think how good it look. I also liked the 4th gen. Maybe Legacies are like Star Trek movies, and only the even numbered ones look good.

Don't do it. The 3.6r Engine is the Best Engine Subaru made IMO... 2.4 Turbo detuned and the Big Ol Display Panel with Heating and Cooling controls kinda sucks if you want to upgrade a stereo..[emoji17] I love my 15' 3.6r Upgrade the Suspension and it rips the canyons

Got two 6th gens. Favorite being the '19 sport. The black grille really brings the tuxedo look together for me.

(Still need to black-out the remaining chrome)

 

Things I didn't like about the 7th gen when I was researching:

- Direct Injection Engine

- Massive Infotainment screen (bigger isn't always better)

- Front looking camera

- Stop/Start

- Facial recognition

You can eliminate the Start/Stop feature..The Front Cam would be nice for those High Parking Stones when your lowered.. Definitely not a fan of the Infotainment Setup..
