Check your Fumoto Oil drain plug.

Recommended Posts

My Fumoto oil drain plug had become loose and I was losing oil. Not sure how this could have happened? Maybe heat cycles and being overlooked for torque specs at oil change intervals? It went in originally at correct torque spec.

Just saying it’s worth a look!

It's this in an OEM pan? Asking because I'm running a killer b pan and put the fumoto valve in the NPT thread instead of the straight thread hole

All three of mine are still tight and not leaking.

I'm wondering if it was operator error...I just installed all three of mine with an adjustable wrench, didn't use a torque wrench.

That's why I went with Fumoto...;) LOL
