mmarton
Search isn't working for me. Can anyone help with removing the driver's side console trim (by your right knee)? It looks like I need to remove three screws. After removing the center console ahead of the shifter, I see one screw, but how do I get to the others. I'm trying to get to the blend door actuator on the driver's side. I already did the passenger side. PITA, by the way. Thanks.
Febreze Mee
I just changed the passenger side myself, funny. Driver's side "dog-leg" is held in by one screw and two plastic clips. You just need to pull out towards the rear of the wagon after removing the screw at the bottom of the shifter trim. MILKRUN - Click Here
Pleides
In my manual car, I simply pop them off with a phillips head screwdriver. It's dead simple. Just put the screwdriver between the trim that surrounds the shifter (manual car - I believe the auto has a rectangular piece of plastic underneath the knob with the print for the shift pattern on it) and the wooden/aluminum trim and gently pry it. The trim around the shifter should pop up easily. The trim pieces have a couple screws in them, if I recall. Just regular phillips screws.
