dannygeorge17
Doing some research, i found out that at the very least, lowering springs for the VA chassis (15-21 WRX) fit the 2015-19 Legacy, so i bought a set from a buddy of mine for $75 and i'll let you all know how it goes down after this weekend, and yes i'll be posting lots of pics. Does anyone have any experience lowering the 7th Gen before i do this?

dannygeorge17
So it didn’t turn out quite how I had hoped. The ride was super bouncy, I ended up switching back to the stock springs and now I’m thinking I’m gonna go with coilovers, but here’s the pics Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bill G.
Yeah, but did they lower it? And how much?

Bran808
Wow, that rear spring is way shorter on the WRX/STi than the new Legacy. I wonder if swapping complete spring and strut assemblies from a VA WRX/STi might work? The rears look similar, just shorter assemblies. The fronts are hard to tell from the pics. None of your buddies have their stock stuff they can loan you to try out

It wouldn’t be a total surprise if the stock VA stuff fit, being that Subaru has so many platforms that share certain components. Although fitting is one thing and performing well is another. But, if they were interchangeable, it would open up a ton more options. You mentioned coilovers earlier......are any available right now? Curious if anybody has lowered a newer leggy yet?
