Thats ridiculous. The ocean is for old car batteries, not houses.

No no no no.

Keep your old car batteries for the lead. Dump the acid into your neighbor's lawn, then take the lead plates out to use for melting down and casting into bullets the government doesn't want you to have, or for mixing into old left over paint to sell by the pound. I also hear the city of Flint, MI will buy lead; something to do with their municipal water system.

Makes for environmentally friendly funerals.

Good idea, but I guess you might need friends to help assemble it for your own funeral. :)

....had to Google that one. That's been on my list of "I should watch this movie some time" for awhile

Nils... Are oyo axes fairly cheap out your way?

I hadn't heard about them before, maybe because there are a number of different axe makers around here and more variants than you can wrap your mind around - some not very useful except for special cases. And I don't know what you are after - are you going to be a Viking Berserk at Halloween?

I found a few here: https://www.outnorth.se/search?query=%C3%98YO+axe

Prices are in SEK, so divide by 10 and then add taxes and customs fees.

Here are a bunch of others. Just use some translator as well.

I've kinda always wanted a high quality splitting axe. The Norwegian and Scandinavian stuff is top caliber. But the OYO hatchet is like $130 shipped alone here... So was wondering what the actual local costs were.

wow - those are much cheaper than what im seeing.

$130 is quite expensive.

It would only be worth considering if it's including shipping, taxes and no questions asked.
