mouldman1
It took over one week to complete but boy was it worth it! Ill start off by telling you guys what components I put into my OBXT: Alpine MRVF343 Amplifier Alpine MRPM350 Amplifier Boston Acoustics SL60 6.5 inch Separates in the Doors JL 10W1 v2.4 10 inch Sub Alpine TME770 7 inch Touch Screen Monitor Alpine NVEN872A DVD Navigation System Alpine SIRALP1 Sirius-Alpine Tuner Alpine Vehicle Hub Backup Camera JL Cleansweep I bought the AVO trip computer relocation panel and moved the trip computer to the ashtray location. I bought the factory navigation part for the monitor. I opted to go with this for 2 reasons: 1. I like the look of the recessed screen 2. It was less than half the price of the AVO part and I was not sure that the AVO part would fit. We put in a smoked piece of Plexiglas where the buttons for the factory navigation would go for the IR for the remotes. We fabricated a custom fiberglass sub box for the rear wheel well. We had to move the jack to the right side cubby in the trunk and cut out new locations for the tools On top of the sub box is a custom amprack for the 2 Alpine Amps. The two antennas for the Sirius Radio and Navigation were mounted inside the rear wing Ill try to answer as many questions as possible, I did not do this installation I had a pro shop do it. Enjoy! http://www.davidsstuff.com/subaru/DSC05778.jpg http://www.davidsstuff.com/subaru/DSC05779.jpg http://www.davidsstuff.com/subaru/DSC05780.jpg http://www.davidsstuff.com/subaru/DSC05781.jpg http://www.davidsstuff.com/subaru/DSC05782.jpg http://www.davidsstuff.com/subaru/DSC05783.jpg http://www.davidsstuff.com/subaru/DSC05784.jpg

Did your local dealer have that part or did they need to order it? What did they charge you for it? Thanks in advance... ignore him, he'll go away. Sitting on top somewhere? This install was in an 06 OBXT, the sub sits in the where the spare tire is. I kept the spare tire in the same location and had to move the tools and the jack to one of the cubby holes on the side. Let me know if you want tme to take any pics of something specific. If not, where do you keep it....sitting in the back of the car loose? Did you modify the floor panel that covers the amp rack and subwoofer? It has a fairly tight seal, so I'd guess you are losing output if not.

The spare tire is still in the orignal location. the sub bat was made to fit in it. the the case i have to use the spare tire there is a quick disconnect and i pull the whole sub box out. the amprack is hinged to the wagon and flips back. the seal is really tight. this all fits in the factory location. as a matter of fact i can still leave the optional rubber mat in place.
