Annoying window scratch, both cars!!

Recommended Posts

Alright who else has this window scratch and if you did/do how have you fixed it?

Both my 05 and 08 has it, it's on the inside of the drivers side window and it seems like something was screwed up in the design of the inner panel to do it.

Mine is scratched as well, just not as bad as yours. If it's anything like R32 GTRs (I only have ever dealt with it on those cars), then there are felt strips along the trim of your windows and that trim needs to be replaced.

It should be a straightforward fix, I'm just lazy and haven't gotten around to doing mine yet. Thanks for the reminder.

I am almost certain these are your problem:

The felt has worn down over the years and it's down the the plastic or metal. That or they are just extremely dirty.

I have the same issue, and it looks Febreze Mee has the solution. Had the same problem years back with my old car and it was felt glider too.
