Febreze Mee
Not only that, but you have to remember the OB bumpers are fitted for the flares. So, there is that plastic that rises from the bumper ends where the rear flares would meet it. Unless you wanted to attempt to put time/money into shaving that part, I think the LGT guys are at a loss there too. Sorry guys! xt2005bonbon
That bumper looks quite nice! Where did you find it? I'd be up for shipping one from wherever. I got mine from the UK. It was affordable. USDM LGT wagon folks already have cut out anyways no?

Those little ridges on the bottom part of the bumper are not on the Legacy. It's a clean sheet.
TorqueLegend
Have you considered dropping the bumper, inspecting the rubber part and if its really permanently on there you could possibly grind or sand down down the black rubber bumps a little and then fill in with a few layers of adhesive filler. Something like this would prob work: Once it's sanded again to be even a paint shop can prob finish it off for a few hundred.

It’s part of the bumper and just masked off and not painted. To shave it off would never work long term and would be frail.
TorqueLegend
regardless smoothing it out with adhesive filler sounds like the best bet to me. It works well on bumpers and it's probably what a custom body shop would before charging you out the ass.
