philbegas
I have a 100 pound giant schnauzer and I am looking at wagons. Anybody have experience with a larger dog in their wagon? I'm worried about the height. Bonus points if you can take/attach a photo for me
Neal Cassady
I've had 2 greyhounds in the back of mine, not quite as large/tall, they were 60 & 75 lbs each. 2006 Legacy GT Wagon - Regamasters, Evo X Recaros, STI 6MT, Brembo 6-Pots (in progress) @regashiii
boxkita
you can always measure height of dog and use cars101.com to get the wagon interior dimensions. My akita/boxer mix fit easily in the wagon. Even more space is available if let the dog ride in the backseat. Build my car Boxkita Track days
Nonamedude
Never messed with a giant schnauzer but my exes 112lb bullmastiff rode comfortably in the back seat of her vw beetle so.... I think it depends on how active your dog is. I can't imagine you'd get THAT much more space out of anything but a full size suv. Pleides
I’ve had two Pomeranians in the car at once and had no issues, but they’re obviously a poor reference point . My 50 lb Australian shepherd prefers the rear seat down flat, but can tolerate short rides to the vet and such with them up.
