Spud0
Yes it did come in and well worth the wait New platform is very tight Interior is quiet Interior style is a strong advance a little more pep then the 16 trunk , because of new lid, looks huge spent some time with the big screen, once visited it is easy to use. no problems with screen fade in daylight seat memory is tied to driver recognition settings cd takes up a lot of room in center counsel foot well illumination lights are white not blue as in the 16 you will need a steering wheel wrap (you can still feel the steering wheel warmer) all in all a very nice ride, quiet, refined The exterior looks good although no one has stopped me and said "Is that the new Legacy!" Falcor
We have the heated steering wheel on our '19 Forester. Where has this been all my life?

Spud0
Coming up on three months! Enjoyment continues and looks keep growing on me. Been through one snowstorm, handled like a pro. One longer trip (500 miles). Quiet and comfortable at 75mph. Love the adaptive speed control, use it all the time for city driving. But Just developed what appears to be a head unit issue. Phone pairing dropped and it won't recognize phones now. Spoke with Subaru customer service and rebooted head unit ( push volume knob in until screen goes dark) but no help Will drop off car this Wednesday. Here's hoping My daughter has a 2018 Outback that had a failed head unit for which she had to wait 6 weeks for a new unit to arrive. Bad JuJu there. Falcor
Our 2019 Forester had the same issue with the head unit. The dealer had to preform an update and all has been good so far.

Here's hoping My daughter has a 2018 Outback that had a failed head unit for which she had to wait 6 weeks for a new unit to arrive. Bad JuJu there. I had similar issues on my Ascent. Did you hold the volume knob down for atleast 10-15 seconds? I recall the last time I did that it rebooted the system, not just darken the screen. Also on the Ascent, you can connect the head unit to a Wifi source and check for software updates. Is that an option on the Legacy?
Spud0
yes held the volume button in for 15 sec + until it did reboot ( multiple times) I did try the soft ware update but none available. Subaru also told me that they could not attempt to do a fix via Star Link
gibjer
Does it still function through android auto/carplay ? (just curious) '20 Legacy XT Touring 13 Subarus and counting: http://jmaigroup.com/subarus/
Spud0
Yes it did. I took it in yesterday. They checked it out and did a "hard reboot" per the service desk and now it works fine! Also replaced a battery in the key fob as it would not unlock doors from a distance. All is well.
laz
Do you also get the remote start via the Starlink app? I just picked up a ‘20 forester sport and the remote start is great! I also did the 1tb trial in the wi-fi hotspot and since it is on AT&T and I have Sprint I found myself using it a lot where service was spotty in Sprint. AT@T wants either $20 per mont or $200 for a full year of unlimited data. I may buy it. ---

We love using the Starlink app. When our Forester was being shipped to us I used it to track where it was.
Spud0
I purchased a three year Star link package on delivery. It was about $76 A great deal Use the remote start often ( it's cold here in Pittsburgh)
gibjer
I did the same deal, although I have a garage, it comes in handy at work. '20 Legacy XT Touring 13 Subarus and counting: http://jmaigroup.com/subarus/
