What to do with old turbo oil feed?

Recommended Posts

I ran a new oil feed to the turbo with a sandwich plate and filter.

What should I do with the existing line?

Should I cap it at the joint before the turbo? If so does anyone know what it is?

Or should I chase it back to the block and plug it there?

Thanks in advance, let me know what you think.

Steve

You can just cap the joint before the banjo fitting. I wasn't able to get mine apart when I did the engine back when this photo was taken.

For some reason I think its a -4AN.

-6 is 3/8"

Joplin, you must have a supply house the local Farmers use to repair their equipment and get hydraulic lines from. You should be able to get whatever you need locally. Think outside the box.
