The engine is great...gobs of low end torque. Staying below 4k isn't so bad since the car makes good power within that range, with only minimal lag. The shifter is a bit sloppy, but I guess that could be fixed with stiffer bushings, and the throw isn't that bad (to me). In cabin noise levels are very minimal, which I liked alot. The interior is nice and solid, I really like the fuel milage/outside temp indicator, I haden't really noticed this before. GRP is awesome! This color has depth my camera couldn't capture! The HVAC lighting is just the way I like it, red. The gauge cluster really lights up at night. Though I haven't pushed it too hard into corners yet, the car seems to communcate through them well. I'm sure better tires would help. I was very impressed with the steering ratio...much better than my WRX. My passengers also commented that the car felt less "airy" (like it was floating?) than the WRX, but that wasn't bad thing. I really can't judge the braking yet, since I'm still breaking those in too, but the pedal feels seems decent. As for mods...I'm satisfied for now...but the stereo could use some upgrading. It sounds decent, but I have a question for those that have the stock sub. Is it just me or is this unit better than the one equipped in the WRX? I didn't really want this option and got stuck with it, but it's decent and doesn't distort much. So far so good, I don't really have any complaints. I'm at about 350 miles so I have a good 650 miles before I really get to open her up, which won't take long since I put about 130 miles on her just last night... :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
