Mufatu Posted June 21, 2007 Share Posted June 21, 2007 The dealer had the car last Thursday for a minor warranty repair. Finished the repair and called me to pick it up. While I was en route to the dealer, the service manager tried to pull the car from the back to the front lot for my convenience. Unfortunately, she backed into something severely damaging the rear bumper. I got to the dealer and was shown the damage. They held onto the car that evening so they could send it to the body shop down the road the next morning. It was at the body shop through the end of Friday, and so, it stayed through the weekend... On Sunday night, the paint and body shop, and all of the chemicals therein, went up in a blaze for reasons I do not know. I do know there was an arson investigation when it first happened -- but I don't know what the findings were. Seems like a few ppl are getting these things pretty recently and im sure they arent all bought as of yet.
