KylerBelluz
Hey I’m pretty new around here but I thought this would be the best place to ask this question. So my buddy got a 2004 Legacy GT off his neighbor who had no idea what was done to it for $500 (it was his buddy’s car who moved away so he just sold it on him lol). So after closer inspection it has a Cobb intake, greddy turbo back exhaust, boost controller, vf48 turbo, an AVO top mount inter cooler, and a Cobb accessport which revealed it has a tune for all these parts and pushing 19 psi. The car has 230.xxx km. The car was misfiring but we replaced the plugs and wires and it runs pretty good, he wants to sell it to me for pretty cheap but I just don’t know how reliable this setup would be. Not too familiar with the ej255 so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Edited June 4, 2019 by KylerBelluz

GunFunZS
Yeah, sounds like a fun, but likely thrashed car. Anything less than a thousand in running condition is a steal. If you list known issues, like needs brakes, tires, clutch, there's a lot of instant gasket sticking out everywhere... That might change the equation. I'd take it and just put a moderate tune in it and enjoy.
