Volta55 Posted April 29, 2019 Share Posted April 29, 2019 While rowing through the gears ( Park, to Neutral, to Drive ) the shifter is smooth and normal. But when I want to switch it into Sport, or Manual (+/-) it gets jammed up, barely gets into the position it needs to be. My guess is that its purely mechanical, and I have to take it apart? Has anyone else had this problem? Do I have to buy the whole assembly or is it just some bolt that is loosening up Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My wife's Forester got all funky after she spilled some coffee on the console/shifter area. I took the cover off and got some Castle Endura lube in there and all is well.
