legacynub
Hi, been a long time lurker and was wondering if you have to tune or retune after installing the turbo intake inlet hose. I have a stock one currently but it is ripped or moist with oil on one side so I plan on replacing it with a perrin one possibly. The car is apparently protuned from the P/O but don't have any paper work for it. The car has been running fine and has a after market turbo if it matters. Max Capacity
I seem to recall something about you need to plug one of the ports on the Perrin for 05-06's. Make sure you know what your getting so you don't have any surprises. FWIW. I replaced mine with a OEM when it did the engine. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. utc_pyro
Depends on the gen Perrin, they have changed them a bit over the years. The current gen more or less fits as expected, but you need to use the longer WRX BOV return hose. The gen before (what I have) has an odd hose size issue between the head vent hard line and inlet port for it.
covertrussian
I've found that if you unbolt the BOV hose from the manifold, you can stretch it to fit. 05 LGT 16G 14psi 290whp/30mpg (SOLD) 12 OBP Stock 130whp/27mpg@87 Oct 00 G20t GT28r 10psi 250whp/36mpg 22 Ascent STOCK
